What we do:
1) The first step will be to define a listing of keywords or key phrases from each staff person that describes the organization. With this information we can do extensive research of the following:
- Determine how often those keywords key phrases are searched each month.

2) The next step will be to identify competition based on the keywords and key phrases we have chosen.

5) Submission of website with new keywords and key phrases established
- The website will be submitted to all major search engines on a regular basis.
- I will monitor the progress of the new keyword list and ensure that traffic is coming to the site and the website is ranked high for those search terms.

6) Keyword tuning
- The keywords, key phrases and content of the site will have to be tuned and watched over carefully and periodically to ensure high ranking and relevant traffic to the site.

Search engine optimization is quite an extensive task, but if it is done the right way, can bring a substantial amount of relevant traffic to your website and will result in pre-qualified leads for your business.

Typically the initial keyword and key phrase development process and submission to all major search engines will take 20-30 hours of time to implement.

After implementation, 3-6 hours of time per month will be needed for keyword and key phrase monitoring, suggestion and resubmission. Essentially, the process will never end in hopes of earning a top rank in major search engines for all keywords and key phrases for which your business would like to be recognized.

I had no trouble registering, exporting Outlook contact, or inserting into Salesforce. But I'm stumped on synching appointments and tasks. Did a quick search, but nothing has made sense yet. If finally selected all tasks and appointments and right clicked which allowed me to set them to synch.
On the Salesforce screen there are several tabs with a "tell me more" on each page.home = dashboard
accounts = customers, competitors, and partners ("account" by itself always refers to both business accounts and person accounts. The terms "business account" and "person account" are used when there are differences between the two kinds of accounts.)
contact = Contacts are all of the individuals associated with your business
opportunities = sales and pending deals that you want to track.
reports = Reports are summaries and analyses of your data, which you can display or print
documents = A document library is a place to store files without attaching them to accounts, contacts, opportunities, or other records. Each document in the document library resides in a folder.

I checked it out briefly and was so excited I sent out an email to staff members at my school. Later that day I got a chance to really explore. There were a couple of teacher targeted video tutorials that were really helpful. One was on literature groups and one on how to make a poster sized document using MS Excel. This would be really handy at times.

As I explored further, I found that I could set up groups of videos that any users could check out or add to. I started a group called PDA Teahcers for teachers using PDAs for management or for teaching and learning. This is when Teacher Tube began to bog down. There was a video tutorial explaining how to set up a group, but when these instructions failed, there was no recourse. So now I have a group of one video about using PDAs. I looked around at the other groups and found that many of them had only one video or none at all. It was also pretty tricky to navigate as the menus changed without warning. So, although I think this could be a useful site for teachers, it seems that Teacher Tube has some bugs to work out.
